The aim of Maison Ryon was to capture the elegance of this iconic flower in an exclusive Three Dimensional pendant for the Aruban Symbols Collection. Inspired by the Spring/ Summer 2025 collection of Memoria Hardin, this pendant is intricately carved to reflect the delicate yet powerful essence of the flamboyan flower. The design showcases the flower’s bold, expressive form, blending nature’s beauty with artisanal craftsmanship. The pendant stands as both a tribute to Aruba’s natural landscape and a timeless piece of jewelry that embodies the island’s vibrant spirit.

This exquisite Three Dimensional pendant is a must-have for those who appreciate both the beauty of nature and the artistry behind Aruba’s cultural symbols. This tree was in the garden of the creative director’s grandmother, Francisca,  at Rooiweg in San Nicolaas Aruba.

The flamboyan flower, also known as the royal poinciana (Delonix regia), is a breathtaking tropical bloom renowned for its vibrant, fiery red-orange petals. With large, bold blossoms that cluster in striking patterns, the flamboyan flower is a symbol of the tropics. Its deep red and orange hues, complemented by yellow stamens, create a stunning contrast against the island’s natural backdrop. Native to Madagascar, this tree has found its place in tropical and subtropical regions worldwide, including Aruba, where it blooms most vibrantly in late spring and summer. It’s often seen as a symbol of the island’s beauty and spirit.
