THE INSPIRATION
The unique scarf collection by MAISON RYON is based on authentic Aruban tiles from houses and places that are dear to the creator of the brand. These designs were transformed into elegant prints to elevate the brand into its culture of taste.
As part of the many travels that the creative director has been on, a source of curiosity has always been art. The foundation of all inspiration has always been drawn from shapes, colors, patterns and originality of design. Tiles have a very universal and unique essence from these elements, which convey a period and a certain aesthetic of that era.
Each design has its inspiration, story, quote and mood board. They are part of the HERENCIA collection which is aimed to emphasize our heritage.
THE MATERIALS
The authentic tile collection comes in three sizes and two types of silk. Sublimated Mulberry Silk and Matte Silk with a sumptuous silk composition and mesmerizing medley of color that provides a perfect balance to understated elegant attire.
Sizes and product ranges of pocket squares 33 x 33 cm, foulards 54 x 54 cm and scarves 85 x 85 cm.

The ALMA design is based on an typical Aruban house in the district of Tanki Leendert, the tiles of the house of RYON’s paternal grandparents, pertaining to the Dijkhoff–Trimon family. This is evoked in the quote linked to this piece, a connection, everlasting, ever warm.
The color pattern for this scarf is warm in earth tones with the geometric and soft touches in the design with a medley of color that provide that elegance that they convey. A depth of detail and a wealth of colors make the sophisticated accessory easy to match across your collection.

The SOÑO design is based on an authentic Aruban house in the Arikok National Park, the tiles of the house pertaining to the Fontein landmark, which was a plantation of a family back in the days. This house and landmark is well visited by our guests to the island, the abandoned house has the inspiration tile for this design which is known by many Arubans, it’s the most recognizable tile of the collection. The quote that is linked to this piece serves as a mantra for progress and growth while giving ode to the authenticity of this property, its history and place in the Aruban community.

The ORO design is based on an authentic Aruban house in the district of San Nicolas, the tiles of the house of RYON’s maternal grandparents, pertaining to the Maduro-Paesch family.
This tile which serves as inspiration is in the kitchen of this home, where tasteful meals were always prepared by Mrs. Maduro-Paesch. She is a person who always has stood for family, togetherness and also kindness towards others. Her kitchen always has been a happy place full of the best tasting food which she shared with a lot of love to all that came by.
