Since 2021, the Maison has explored its heritage and enriched it with creativity. Discovering, drawing inspiration from differences and being enriched by cultures is at the heart of all MAISON RYON’s actions. Driven by its vision of traveling, the Maison shares it with passion.

MAISON RYON (translated French to English: House of Ryon) signifies the start of a passion project by the creative mind behind the brand, inspired by all the fashion Houses (Maisons) of the world which served as a motivation and inspiration to start-off this endeavor.

Yin and yang (or 陰 and 陽 in traditional Chinese characters) represent duality, or the idea that two opposite characteristics can actually exist in harmony and complement each other. It’s the same idea behind quotes like, “there can be no light without darkness.”


Yin and yang represent opposite forces that, when they are joined, represent everything in the natural world. Together they represent the different facets of the world and the way they need to be carefully balanced to be complete.


One cannot exist without the other, the same way movement can’t exist without rest or shade cannot exist without sun. Both yin and yang always need to be present, and one is not superior to the other.


The ideal scenario is for yin and yang to be perfectly balanced and each have an equal share of the whole. When this happens, there is harmony and equality in the world.


The balance between yin and yang is always changing; that’s part of the reason why the two segments look as though they are flowing into and out of each other in the yin yang symbol. There’s never a point where yin and yang stop moving, the same way the amount of light and dark is always changing as the sun rises and sets each day.

RYON has European ancestry and has always been very much connected to his Aruban roots. While visiting Paris, France in 2007, he manifested his dream of having his own brand one day, in the fashion capital of the world. 


This dream went on hold but, the universe aligned everything and in 2021, this dream came to life, MAISON RYON was launched. 


This journey was started out of a friendship of intention and love for style and fashion of artisan and founder of ZsaZsa Designs who asked RYON to collaborate with her on a collection for her well established jewelry brand. 

This empowerment and collaboration has launched and has resonated from the very beginning to the Aruban and International customers. 


Positioning MAISON RYON as one of the emerging Aruban brands on the island of Aruba. The brand is intentional, luxurious, handmade and non gender bounded. 

A pivotal part of the brand is bringing meaning and purpose to each piece from the running collections, it is pivotal in the brand DNA that the person who wears a piece is connected to it, with the aim to expand the connection with worldly gems,  bring focus to self-awareness and a higher consciousness whilst looking fiercely sharp.
